Socket Edge is the most elegant finish for a prosthetic socket brim. Socket Edge tape is a highly elastic strip specially designed for custom finishing your socket brim with a protective edge.
Pressure sensitive vinyl tape
Begin applying the tape along the inside edge and center the prosthetic trimeline in the middle of the tape's width. Once you've applied the tape all along the socket, cut any excess tape. Next, begin folding the tape over the inside of the socket. Last, begin folding the tape over the outside of your socket.
